Improving Brain Health And Short-Term Memory!

While there may be moments, such as when we are at rest, only a small portion of the brain is in use. We virtually use every part of the brain and most of the brain is active almost all of the time.

The brain acts as the main command center for every function, thought, and feeling we experience.
Even though we know the brain is responsible for making us function, so little is known about how it works. So it's not that we only use 10 percent of our brain power rather we only understand 10 percent of how it functions.

Long-term Memory

New information coming into the brain, can bump out other items in our short-term memory. Long-term memory has much greater capacity and contains things such as facts, personal memories and the name of your third-grade teacher.

Short-Term Memory Loss

There are a number of causes of short-term memory loss, some which are a result of medical conditions and others that are related to injuries or other outside influences. Treatment options depend on what caused the loss, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

My goal, is to share with you how simple lifestyle changes will help improve your brain power and short-term memory, as well as, your quality of life. This is why I invited you to attend my next event, Brain Health on Wednesday, November 7th at 8:30 am CST at We Got Your Back Chiropractic Clinic.
